Mission Statement

In our practice we believe that pain is an unnatural state which can be corrected. If you have a joint, muscle, or any body part that is in a steady state of pain, our solution is to determine your specific dysfunction and correct the problem. Long term pain simply means the origin of the pain has not been detected, properly treated, or corrected.

We also believe that the tissue known as fascia, covering all of your muscles and organs and bones must be loose and stretchable for joints, muscles and all body parts to work normally.

We employ highly effective technological equipment and have only experienced physical therapists working in private treatment rooms providing the most individualized, accurate and beneficial treatment. We never use physical therapy aides or assistants in our practice. Our office hours are 7am to 8pm.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization — The use of various tools to free up the fascia and speed the restoration of the fascia’s collagen connections.

Neuroprobe — a non-needle acupuncture process that uses electric current to decrease the activity of trigger points. Two differential amplifiers actually locate the acupuncture point and monitor the treatment.

Iontophoresis — the use of a topical steroid that is gently infused into the area of inflammation. This is not a muscle building steroid.

Paraffin wax hand and foot bath — a treatment used to ease discomfort from pain and inflammation in the hands or feet due to diagnoses such as arthritis and some auto-immune disorders (lupus, scleroderma). Our machine has a self sterilizing feature to ensure patient safety.
Ultrasound — the use of sound waves to help increase circulation and heat the tissues in order to promote healing in the area of application.

Electrical Stimulation — the use of gentle electrical currents to address a variety of problems including pain, swelling, loss of muscle function due to injury, and loss of strength. Current protocols include the highly successful interferential current technology.

Hypervolt — The Hypervolt is a cordless state of-of-the-art vibration massage device that relaxes sore/stiff muscles, increases circulation and range of motion, and improves the overall health of the body’s soft tissue.

Benefits:

  • Helps relieve muscle stiffness and soreness
  • Increase range of motion
  • Promotes circulation
  • Myofascial release

We also use a variety of other traditional equipment, including assorted weights and elastic resistive bands, Body Blades, Physiorollers, yoga belts and blocks, BAPS boards, lumbar supports, orthotic devices for all joints, cervical contoured pillows, orthopedic boots, Aircasts, an array of pedorthotics, as well as home traction units.
